CLIENT FEATURE - MICHAEL WHEELER

I look forward to all my sessions every week, especially my sessions with Mr. Mike Wheeler.
An ex division 1 college football QB for Miami and FSU, an avid auto racer, tennis and golf player Mike knows 1st hand how to enjoy life to the fullest. Initially Mike wanted to get back into tip top health, and more specifically train for sports activites as well. The challenges (which are also blessings) were to balance a high demanding job, a wonderful family, 3 different sports, his own workouts and our training sessions into one big melting pot. Nobody I know does this better than Mike.
The gameplan: We really tailored his nutrition to smaller, better proportioned meals every 3 hours and also counted calories through his "livestrong calorie counter". The result was more energy throughout the day and a boost to his metabolism. Mike now burns more calories during the day at rest and lives more efficiently.
The 1st program we had him on was a mixture of strength endurance and cardio because we just wanted to whip him into shape and drop pounds asap! alot of supersetting and no resting at all. Alot of the excercises were also core in nature giving him a solid foundation to progress to future more complex movements. Mike is currently on a more advanced program concentrating more on fully functional , dynamic and challenging movements. We are doing alot of "corrective" excercises as well.
In addition Mike does "fatburning cardio sessions" on his own keeping his heart rate to 65% of his max thus using mostly fat for energy. The result was a reduction of more than 15% fat off his body. He does this mostly on his bike, but now is starting to run more frequently. Always changing his routine Mike never sees plateus.
The best part about Mike progression is that he is still going! He has seen large improvements in his golf game especially his drives, seen noticeable improvements at snowboarding, etc.... He is continuing to not only lean up but he is getting stronger. Sorry MIKE about all the new clothes you had to buy up to this point.
CONGRATULATIONS you have met every expectation of mine and continue to attack every session with 100% FOCUS. The sky really is the limit with you!
